Writing and Handwriting

Room 19 have really started to understand the story of Casey the Caterpillar and are developing their letter shapes such as the 'open mouth' and 'long stick' shapes which help them work towards forming letters and soon enough writing their very own stories! It is wonderful to see them concentrating on how to set their board up and where abouts they draw their shapes. Some of the class were forming the shapes with play dough which helps to familiarise themselves with the shapes we are learning in class!
