True Colours performance

The show was so much fun and the children loved performing their dance to True Colours. Here are some snaps from their performance. Miss Watson and I are really proud! 

Easter celebration

We were very lucky to have a a child's parents pastor Murray and his wife Kelly come in to room 19 today to talk about the celebration of Easter which included a story and an easter egg hunt. At the end they all were given a hot cross bun to eat and an Easter egg. We really enjoyed our time this morning.

Year 5/6 science fair

The year 5/6 classes have been learning all about the Hauraki golf and each choose an island to make a sculpture off. The children used plaster, paper mâché or playdough.  Each child had to make an informative power point about their chosen island and a brochure. Room 19 loved looking at the displays. 

Pasta jewellery

This morning room 19 were so excited as they made pasta jewellery! We made bracelets, necklaces and headbands to wear. Check out the photos to see them being made and worn!
