Best day ever

On Thursday according to the children in the class it was the best day ever!! We went on a ECO picnic for winning the litter free lunchbox challenge and then went swimming! Thank you to all the parents who helped. 

Learning about Czech Republic

We had Adam's mum come into class this morning to tell us all about Czech Republic. It was very intersting did you know there are more than 2,000 castles and that they love ice hockey? One of your students got to dress up in a nice hockey uniform.

Exciting news

Room 23 won the litter free lunch challenge. We had over 417 litter free lunches. To celebrate we are having a Eco picnic at a mystery location. If you would like to join us please let us know. A light lunch will be provided but please still bring morning tea and a sand which . 

Swimming time

Today Room 23 went swimming and loved every minute of it. Just a reminder to make sure your child can dress themselves.

Bollyhop performance

Congratulations to Arabella and any for performing at full school assembly today. We loved your bollyhop performance. 

Afternoon fun in the sun

The sun was shinning this afternoon and room 23 went outside to have a game of stuck in the mud. We were pretty lucky as we even had a vistor " Mr Turner" popped in to read up a book and play the game too. 

Class of pandas

We made panda masks this afternoon and then went into the garden for a play in the sun.

Pandas

Today in writing we thought of verbs and adjectives to describe pandas. We are learning about pandas and now know what they eat where they live and why they are endangered. 

Platypus finger puppets

This week we have been learning about the blend 'Pl' we found out so many interesting facts about the platypus and we wrote a story about them. We even made our own platypus finger puppet.
