Today we learnt all about King Arthur and the history behind the sword in the stone. We watched a clip from the movie the sword and the stone and tried to pull a sword out of stone ourselves! One of the boys who pulled it out became King Arthur and he chose a Queen and the Knights he wanted to guard him. We also had lady's in waiting to help out the queen. We loved learning about this so much that we wrote all about it and had a play to reenact the knights at the round table, King Arthur and knights having a sword fight. What a fun day.
