Making Worms!

Room 18 are learning so much about worms this week! We have learnt they have 5 hearts, they breath through their skin , they have no teeth and they chew their food by the use of a gizzard - which is inside their stomach and crunches up the food. It sounds like shells breaking and if you listen carefully you can hear the crunching sound. 

Each group made a worm of their own yesterday using half a stocking and some  scrunched up newspaper. Check out the photos taken of each group! Next week we are going to put the finishing touches onto the worms
